Real Stories from Real People
We've worked with investors from Toronto to Vancouver, from brand-new beginners to seasoned professionals looking to understand their emotional patterns better. These aren't scripted testimonials—they're honest reflections from people who've gone through our programs and actually applied what they learned.
Some came to us after major market losses. Others just wanted to stop second-guessing every decision. What connects them all? They were willing to look inward and explore how emotions shape their investing habits.
What Our Participants Say
Damian Kovalenko
Small Business Owner, HalifaxI thought I knew myself pretty well until I started tracking my investment decisions alongside my emotional state. The patterns were embarrassing at first—but recognizing them changed everything. Now I pause before making moves during stressful weeks.
Linnea Bergström
Freelance Designer, OttawaThe program helped me see how my need for certainty was actually costing me money. I'd sell positions too early because I couldn't handle the uncertainty. Learning to sit with discomfort has been uncomfortable—but worth it.
Beyond Surface-Level Advice
Most investing courses teach you technical analysis or fundamental research. We don't ignore those—but we start somewhere different.
Our approach focuses on the person making the decisions. What's your relationship with money? How do you respond to losses? What makes you feel confident or anxious?
People often tell us they've never been asked these questions in a financial context before. And that's exactly why understanding emotional patterns can create such noticeable shifts in behavior.
Common Themes We Hear
After working with hundreds of participants across Canada since early 2024, certain patterns emerge. Here's what people frequently mention when they reflect on their experience.
Better Self-Awareness
Participants often mention they understand their triggers better—whether it's market volatility, peer pressure, or fear of missing out on trending investments.
More Intentional Decisions
Instead of reacting impulsively, people report taking more time before executing trades. They check in with themselves first about what's driving the decision.
Reduced Anxiety
Many say the constant worry about portfolio performance has lessened. Not because they care less, but because they've developed healthier ways to relate to uncertainty.

Ready to Explore Your Own Patterns?
Our next cohort starts in September 2025. We keep groups small—usually around 12 to 15 people—so everyone gets individual attention during reflective exercises.
The program runs for eight weeks with weekly sessions. Between meetings, you'll track your investing decisions and emotional states using a simple framework we provide.
It's not therapy, and it's not traditional financial education. It sits somewhere in between, which makes it unusual. But for people tired of repeating the same emotional mistakes with their money, that's exactly what makes it valuable.
