The Emotional Side
Most people know what they should do with their money. Buy low, sell high. Diversify. Stay calm during volatility.
But knowing and doing are totally different things. When your portfolio drops 15% in a week, logic goes out the window. That's where we start—with understanding why you react the way you do.
We dig into the patterns that trip people up. The urge to sell everything when things look bad. The FOMO that makes you chase hot stocks. The paralysis that keeps you from making any move at all.
The Practical Side
Understanding your emotions is step one. But you also need tools to work with them, not against them.
You'll learn frameworks for making decisions when you're feeling anxious or overconfident. We cover how to set up systems that remove emotion from routine choices. And we talk through real scenarios—not theoretical ones.
By the end, you won't just have knowledge. You'll have strategies you can use the next time the market gets weird or you're tempted to do something impulsive.
Meet Ronan Tvedten
Ronan spent 12 years watching clients make the same mistakes over and over—not because they lacked information, but because their emotions got in the way. He built this program to address that gap.
How We Approach Teaching
Real Situations, Not Textbook Examples
We use actual case studies from people who went through emotional investing challenges. You'll see what they did wrong, what they did right, and how they adjusted their approach over time. It's messier than theory, but way more useful.
Self-Assessment Tools
You can't change patterns you don't recognize. We provide exercises to help you identify your specific triggers—whether it's checking your portfolio too often, avoiding decisions, or getting overly optimistic after a few wins.
Guided Practice
You'll work through simulated scenarios where emotions typically run high. We create conditions that mimic stress, uncertainty, and temptation so you can practice responding in healthier ways before real money is on the line.
Ongoing Reflection
Learning happens when you think about what you experienced, not just when you consume information. We build in regular check-ins where you examine your own reactions and refine your strategies based on what's actually happening in your life.
Program Timeline
Our next cohort begins in September 2025. The program runs for eight weeks with optional continued support afterward. Here's how it typically unfolds.
Initial Enrollment Period
Applications open in June 2025. We keep cohorts small—around 20 people—so everyone gets attention. Once you're accepted, you'll get access to preparatory materials about two weeks before the official start.
Eight-Week Intensive
Two live sessions per week, plus self-paced work. You'll cover emotional triggers, decision frameworks, and practice scenarios. Expect to spend about 5-6 hours weekly between live sessions and assignments.
Post-Program Integration
After the intensive period, you'll have a month of lighter touchpoints—weekly group calls and access to instructors for questions. This helps you apply what you learned as real situations come up.
Continued Support
You'll keep access to course materials and the community forum indefinitely. We also run quarterly alumni sessions where you can reconnect with your cohort and discuss how things have evolved.
Sienna Aaldenberg
Program Coordinator
Sienna manages the day-to-day experience for participants. She's the person who makes sure you don't get lost in the process, answers logistical questions, and connects you with the right resources when you need them.
She also facilitates the group discussions where people share what's working and what isn't. Those conversations end up being just as valuable as the formal instruction because you realize you're not alone in struggling with this stuff.
